Shannon Rivkin

Under the mentorship of his father Rene Rivkin, Shannon developed an early passion for equity markets, joining The Rivkin Report Investment Team in 2002 and completing his Diploma in Financial Markets in 2004. He is now a director of The Rivkin Report, overseeing the house investment process and proprietary trading.

Shannon is an event-driven trader by nature and is a staunch believer in the importance of independence and integrity associated with The Rivkin Report and the advice which it contains.

When Shannon is not tracking the latest takeover announcement on the market, he can be found playing golf at Camden Lakeside or Riverside Oaks.

Kristian Dibble

Kristian's first share investment was FAI Life at the age of 17. Reading the newspaper each day, he saw it go from his purchase price of around 80c all the way up to around $1.80, only to see it go straight back down to where he bought it. The lesson learned? Without any idea of the value of an investment, it is difficult, if not impossible, to know when to buy, hold or sell.

Kristian went on to complete a Bachelor of Commerce followed by a Diploma in Financial Planning. He has worked as a Financial Planner and Accountant, which has provided him with a sound analytical attitude towards investments.

Kristian enjoys riding horses and motorcycles, as well as the challenge of running a small dynamic business.

Jordan Rivkin

In 1996, Jordan graduated from the University of New South Wales with a Bachelor of Arts (English Literature). In 1997, he joined his father and Nigel at The Rivkin Report as Editor. Jordan completed his Diploma of Financial Markets from the Securities Institute of Australia in 2004, and is currently completing a Graduate Diploma in Psychology at The University of Sydney.

Jordan has written two books on stock market investing and after speaking with investors and subscribers of The Rivkin Report for over 10 years, Jordan is our ambassador for client education and market psychology.

Nigel Littlewood

Nigel joined Rene Rivkin's firm, Rivkin James Capel, as a stock broker in late 1986 and was elevated to the position of floor operator on the day of the 1987 crash.

In late 1996, the idea of The Rivkin Report was born and launched soon after in April 1997. In 2002, Nigel left The Rivkin Report to work at MMC Asset Management in order to gain funds management experience from Erik Metanomski. This reinforced Nigel's well researched value style and disciplined focus. Following two years with MMC, Nigel returned to The Rivkin Report.

Nigel considers himself an event driven, market opportunist with a strong focus on capital preservation and always trying to buy attractive value. He loves sailing, swimming and the challenge of being the best husband and dad that he can be.

Scott Schuberg

After trading Australian shares from the age of 18 and working under Rene Rivkin and Nigel Littlewood until his mid-twenties, Scott spent time working within capital markets and asset management in London.

He held research-related roles at The London Stock Exchange, UBS Asset Management, BNP Paribas Asset Management and Henderson Global Investors before returning to Sydney, briefly spending time at Colonial First State Global Asset Management.

Scott spends much of his free time travelling, riding his scooter around Sydney and finding the best places to eat and drink after a hard day's work.

Joe Barry

After blitzing an ASX competition in his latter years at school, Joe took a job with stock broker Andrew West as a client dealer for a number of years. He left to complete a Bachelor of Business, majoring in Economics and Finance.

After completing his degree, Joe joined The Rivkin Report team in 2005 to further develop his analytical skills and work with event-driven investors. Along with finding undervalued businesses, Joe is a big believer in the 'Rivkin Rules' approach to the market, particularly in relation to 'takeovers' and 'bombed out blue chips'.

When not scouring the market for opportunities, Joe spends his spare time either on the golf course or playing bridge.
