From The Editor. Issue 04: Lessons from 1907
In this month's From the Editor, we look at the confluence of events that
caused the panic of 1907. 1907 was a flashpoint in the history of the USA;
the financial system went to the brink and shares dropped 37%. There were a
few differences between that financial crisis and the current crisis,
however there are some startling similarities. It's a fascinating period of
history.
We now issue a Blue Chip report each week for Rivkin Report members, which
summarises basic data on the top 50 shares by market size. This is a very
useful tool for those blue chip share investors who are looking for a quick
snapshot on leading stocks.
I hope you enjoy this month's issue of From the Editor.
